Sunday 19th November @ The Sony Centre, 1 Front Steet East, Toronto
About The Cause
Hurricanes Irma and Maria are two of the strongest and most devastating storms ever measured in the Atlantic.
These hurricanes caused catastrophic damage throughout many eastern Caribbean countries,
whose government and citizens do not have the means to rebuild their lives from such overwhelming destruction.
As global citizens, we must do our part in helping those around us who have been affected by this devastation.
We are answering this call with the “One Love Hurricane Disaster Relief Concert”.
The Concert is being organized to raise funds to help those Caribbean countries affected by Hurricanes Irma and Maria.
The Concert, hosted by comedian Jay Martin, will be held at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto, Ontario on Sunday, November 19, 2017.
The lineup features performances by:
TARRUS RILEY │ DEAN FRASER │ AGENT SASCO │ CHRISTOPHER MARTIN │ ALISON HINDS │ G-LOC
As part of this initiative, we have partnered with UNICEF and Helping Hands International, two organizations working to assist communities in affected areas of the Caribbean.
UNICEF CANADA is focused on saving children’s lives, while Helping Hands International is committed to supporting and assisting marginalized communities towards positive self-empowerment.
Part proceeds from the Concert will be donated directly to the relief activities of these two charitable organizations.
In addition to the Concert, we will also carry out fundraising campaigns on different crowdfunding platforms.
Donations raised from these efforts will go via our charitable partners directly to the recovery and repair of the hurricane-ravaged countries.
Let us rebuild and revitalize the Caribbean together!
